" Let's Make A Movie "
MCEF is excited to support an unique opportunity for our MHS Honors Theatre Workshop, Musical Theatre, and Theatre Design / Technology Classes. Local writer and filmmaker Eric Shapiro is partnering up with Ms. Kaila Schwartz to offer these students a tremendous learning experience. And as a community, let's support that. They need to raise about $20,000 over the next three weeks, to cover the costs of the production. This is will be a short film, so we don't have those "million dollar" budgets.

MCEF is providing them a fundraising platform to do that. As MCEF is a 501c3 organization, we can provide donation receipts for donors.

Donations made through our platform will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to a maximum of $1000. And our platform is fee free so every penny will go to this wonderful endeavor and you can use your credit card to make the donation.

Want a more active role? You can be in the movie, in a Cameo role... Donate $500, and we can make that happen, although the number of the roles is limited, so first come, first served.​

A donation at this level will get you invited to a special screening of the movie with a spaghetti dinner hosted by the MHS Theatre members.​
