Physical Therapy

My professional goal is to become a physical therapist. This has been my passion for several years now because I enjoy helping others. I have watched my grandfather receive services from physical therapists, which has allowed me to witness firsthand what a life-changing difference these professionals can make in bettering someone’s life. In 2021, my grandfather underwent surgery on his back, but something had gone wrong. He was paralyzed from the waist down. With the help of physical therapy, he has gained back some mobility, and even though he is still unable to walk, he has gained back a significant amount of strength and movement. Witnessing the impact of physical therapy on his life has motivated me to want to help others the way he has been helped.

Elementary School Teacher

I am choosing to become an elementary school teacher because I enjoy working with kids. They are so smart, creative, hardworking, and capable while still being so young and having much more to learn throughout their lives. Becoming a teacher would also allow me to set a good example for them, and make a positive impact on their learning experience. As well as set them up for success. My previous teachers have all made a difference in my life and have taught me so many things, so becoming one I would hope to do the same for my future students
