We're thrilled to extend a special invitation to you for the upcoming MCEF Annual Appreciation Dinner. Join us on Friday, May 2, 2025, starting at 5:30 pm. We'll be gathering at the Milpitas Community Center for an evening filled with gratitude, celebration, and camaraderie.
Your presence would mean a lot to us as we reflect on the incredible impact made possible by the generous support of our donors and partners. Together, we've achieved so much, and this evening is our chance to honor that collective effort. In addition to recognizing the remarkable contributions of our supporters, we'll provide some insights into two of our new programs. It promises to be a heartwarming moment.
But that's not all! Get ready for some excitement with our raffle, silent auction, and live auction. Every bit of proceeds from these activities will go towards fueling MCEF's programs, including exciting new initiatives that we'll be unveiling soon.

Featuring
2024-25 High School All Stars
Directed by widely-respected saxophonist and educator Oscar Pangilinan, the San José Jazz High School All Stars (HSAS) program is designed to help students achieve mastery of improvisation techniques while advancing their knowledge of music theory, arranging, composition, performance and jazz history. The group rehearses weekly and performs in professional venues all over the region. In the recent past, HSAS has performed at the San José Jazz Summer and Winter Fests, Monterey Jazz Festival, Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival, Joint Venture Silicon Valley “State of the Valley” and the “Season of Hope” Series at St. Joseph’s Cathedral. Recent graduates have gone on to attend music programs at New York University, University of Southern California, Eastman School of Music, Oberlin College, Florida State University, California State University Northridge and San José State University.
