requirements

  • Artwork must be an original work of the submitter/student.
  • Artwork is limited to one entry per submitter/student.
  • Artwork must be submitted as a high resolution (minimum of 2400 x 2400 pixels) image of the original artwork.
  • Each file needs to be under 5 Megabytes in size.
  • The submission must be in .jpg or .png format.
  • The artwork can represent the following mediums: drawing or painting (e.g. pencil, charcoal, colored pencils, oil paints, acrylics, water media, mixed media/collage) and original digital creations.
  • Each piece of artwork must be accompanied by a submission agreement if the submitters is an adult (18+) or a parent submission agreement for a student submission.
  • All submissions must be done through this website by Sunday, February 26, 11.59pm PST.

Steam Showcase
2022-23 laptop sticker contest

We are hosting a design contest for this year's logo for the STEAM showcase. The winning logo will be made into a laptop/chromebook sticker, to be provided to all participants.

eligibility

Contest is open to all MUSD students ​in grades 7 - 12 (Middle School and High School).

judging

Currently, the judging timeline is:
  • Panel of judges to convene Mar 1 - 7 online
  • All scoring to be completed by Mar 7
  • Final checks to be completed by Mar 10
  • Announcement of Winners by Mar 13.

criteria

​Entries will be evaluated based on how well the submission meets the requirements, originality, overall appearance, and how well the art piece communicates what the STEAM showcase is.
