Course Description

This 10-week course will provide an extensive overview of the various financial topics that are important to be aware of to successfully manage your finances. These include: creating emergency accounts, creating & managing a budget, understanding needs versus wants, credit reports, how to use credit and debit cards, loans, insurance, goal planning for retirement, college, etc.

Please note that I'm NOT a financial advisor or professional. However, I do have 10+ years as a private investor, and have taught individuals personal finance as well as been a speaker on various financial topics.

Scholarships

We will be offering 2 scholarships for High School Students with financial need. Please complete the online application here. (scholarship applications will be available shortly, so check back here).

cost

$199 for the semester. This covers rental, insurance, and various processing fees, instructors time and materials, and a donation to MCEE.

If you wish to bring a laptop or chromebook, you are welcome to, as we will refer to various sites.

MINIMUM enrollment

This course has a minimum enrollment requirement, so if we are unable to meet that requirement, we may cancel the class and issue refunds.
