STEAM Showcase logo contest winners - 2023

This year's STEAM showcase featured a logo contest, which we used to create a laptop/chromebook sticker. This year's winner is from Tanvi Doshi, from Russell Middle School. 
We want to thank all of the participants who made submissions. They were very interesting as well. 

MCEE congratulates the 2022 MAGIC participants

​MCEE congratulates the young ladies who participated in this year's More Active Girls in Computing (MAGIC) program. The participants were paired up with industry professionals who guided them one on one for 10 weeks as they explored the world of STEAM. They completed their final presentations on May 18.

2022 danny lau Memorial scholarship winners

On behalf of MCEE, we wish to congratulate the 2022 Winners of the Danny Lau Memorial Scholarship. Ms. Ellie Bi will be headed to UC Davis, and Mr. Forrest Gray will be headed to Fresno Pacific University. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.

MCEE HOSTs a new scholarship: cal Hills community scholarship

The Milpitas Commuity Educational Endowment is honored to host a new scholarship starting this year, the Cal Hills Community Scholarship. We have created a new home page for the scholarship, which can be found here​. We hope that you can join scholarships founders Bob Nunez and Guan Alisantosa support this awesome scholarship to help our Cal Hill students succeed in their future goals.

HIGHlights - STEaM showcase - March 25 @ MHS

This year's STEAM showcase was the largest yet, with 510 participants representing all of our schools in the district as well as all grade levels from TK-12. There were a total of 360 projects, of which approximately 170 were presented in person at MHS. This year we also added in our Family Playground, where visitors can participate in various science activities such as the tallest Box Wall as well as a STEAM showcase logo contest.

MCEE partners with bolder actions to promote
​anti-bullying

​The Milpitas Community Educational Endowment is proud to partner with Bolder Actions to promote antibullying within the school district. We are offering to send this great book by Juliette Gomez, a local author and mom to a student of your choosing when you make a donation of $24 to MCEE. You will receive a receipt for $24 per book that you can potentially use for your taxes (see your tax professional) and we deliver it to anyone in the 95035 zip code. Ask us if you want to deliver outside of that zip code for any delivery costs. Contact us at info@mceefoundation.org if you have questions.

Looking for volunteers

As we grow, we are in need of dedicated volunteers with some specific skills:​​
  • Auditor - someone familiar with reviewing financial statements, taxes, and financial processes.
  • Board Member - with Marketing / CPA skillset. Requirement to attend quarterly board meetings in addition to quarterly general meetings.
